Mission Meow just announced their April grant recipients, and as a Business Partner that helps make these grants possible, I'm thrilled to share the incredible work these organizations are doing:

Rebuilding feral cat colonies after devastating 2025 floods.
🐾 South Middleton Community Cats (Boiling Springs, PA) — $6,100
Renovating a trailer to create a safe space for traps and carriers.

🐾 Thrifted Kittens Animal Rescue (Milwaukee, WI) — $5,788
Outfitting their new adoption center with Cat Stax units and cat trees.
🐾 Kitten Central NorCal (Newcastle, CA) — $5,000
Four Curadle Incubator Bundles for fragile neonatal kittens.
🐾 Feral Fixers TNR Club (Jersey City, NJ) — $3,275
Expanding trap-and-recover operations.

Always the last Friday in April. A gentle reminder to brush your cat, keep them hydrated, and maybe keep the carpet cleaner nearby.

They're one of the only mammals missing the gene for sweet taste receptors. So when your cat sniffs your dessert and walks away looking offended, it's not personal — they literally can't appreciate what you're eating.
On the other hand, they have 32 muscles in each ear and can rotate them 180 degrees independently to locate the exact moment you opened a treat bag three rooms away. Priorities.
